Send Money

To fund your loved ones account, all transactions are done through Jpay. This can be done on their website, on their app, by phone or money order through the US Mail. If you use a credit card, sometimes they will charge it as a "cash withdrawal" which can incur additional charges and fees for you. You can use prepaid cards, but it must be one that you are required to register in your name and have it verified, and even then some of them will not work with the Jpay system. It is best to use a debit card to avoid additional fees. Jpay does charge a transaction fee of $3.25-4.75 depending on the amount deposited. The maximum amount you can add to your loved ones account at one time is $300.00. If you use a credit or debit card, it must be verifiable by Jpay. Pre-paid anonymous cards will NOT be accepted. Below are instructions for every method of payment.

Remember - all the other services listed on their page for inmates such as email, snap and send, the Jpay tablet(although there are rumors they may be switching to these tablets) etc..are not utilized by the PA State Prison system. There is a link to Securus for phone calls as they are owned by the same company. Other than that - the only service the PA State Prison system utilizes Jpay for is funding your loved ones account.
